Barnaby: The America at Home Study Concept Home

A photo-realistic immersive online tour rendered from a design by DAHLIN Group and an actual home built by Garman Homes, Barnaby is the first home derived from the America at Home Study, an extensive, national consumer research effort conducted during the height of COVID-19. The 2,600-square-foot, two-story home for young families codifies new lifestyle wants and needs, including a smart and safe family entry, two right-sized home offices, a multi-gen suite, and private, multifunctional outdoor living—all supported by products and systems that enable that lifestyle. Barnaby sets a new standard for how people want (and need) to live today.

Smart Connected Home

The Smart Connected immersive home is an original design by KTGY Architects inspired by consumer research from the New Home Trends Institute at John Burns Real Estate Consulting. Building a "smart" home is far more than installing a few gizmos for Alexa. It means providing connected technologies that deliver meaningful comfort, convenience, security, connectivity and cost savings. This 3,307-square-foot, two-story home showcases the smart home technologies that homeowners, especially young families, really value. In addition to showcasing the latest home technologies, its contemporary design is one of the most popular styles currently trending in the new-home sector.
