Savannah College of Art and Design
Profile
Natalie Ricci is a 2nd year Interior Architectural Design M.F.A candidate at Savannah College of Art and Design. With a B.A. in psychology from Claremont McKenna College, she has a special interest in the neuropsychological and physiological impacts of architectural and interior design. She has written and published several papers on the subject, including a 2022 paper in New Design Ideas. Her CMC senior thesis on the topic is the most downloaded thesis in CMC’s history and has been used in graduate design programs as far away as Germany. Most recently, she was part of an international research team that authored a submission for the 2022 Wolfson Prize in Economics in the UK that was focused on applying the concepts of neuropsychology and physiology to design next generation hospitals. Don Ruggles has served as her mentor and inspiration since she first interned with his studio in 2014. linkedin.com/in/natalie-ricci-424a8a135
