Profile

Loren joined Borstein Enterprises in 2005 and oversees the organization’s residential investments. He has sourced and overseen 50+ of the company’s development ventures totaling over 15,800 lots and homes. With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Loren has worked for three private homebuilders with a focus on urban infill development and affordable ownership product. Loren began his career at the E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate group, working in five countries with residential & retail developers, financial institutions, investment banks and government agencies. Loren spent almost a year working in Asia during the economic crisis of 1998, assisting with asset valuation, loan workouts and portfolio sales. He is a board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Los Angeles and the Borstein Family Foundation and has donated time to the Jimmy Carter Collaboration Center’s Atlanta Project. Loren received his Bachelor’s degree from Emory University and has an MBA from the University of Southern California with a focus on real estate and finance. Loren lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife, son and daughter.
