Inside PCBC
Connecting the Leaders Who Shape Homebuilding
PCBC is the annual gathering of the nation’s leading homebuilders and developers, produced in partnership with the California Building Industry Association (CBIA) and the Leading Builders of America (LBA).
United by shared values and a commitment to advancing the industry, CBIA and LBA bring state-level and federal-level leadership to the event. This partnership creates a powerhouse experience where senior executives, thought leaders, and innovators come together to tackle critical issues, share forward-thinking ideas, and shape the future of homebuilding.
At its core, PCBC is about meaningful connections—bringing the right people together to inspire progress.
Leading the Conversation
Since its founding in 1959, PCBC has grown from a small educational conference into a premier gathering and staple of the homebuilding industry.
Today, it brings together the industry’s best and brightest—major builders, developers, manufacturers, designers, and top financial experts—for three high-impact, high-value days of connection and insight.
In 2026, PCBC will feature cutting-edge exhibits, engaging activations, keynotes, Pitchfest, Key Buyers Connect, and more—bringing the full industry together to tackle the issues that matter: affordability, regulation, AI, supply chain, sales, and marketing. Bold ideas. Honest dialogue. Real progress.

The California Building Industry Association is a statewide trade association based in Sacramento representing thousands of member companies including homebuilders, trade contractors, architects, engineers, designers, suppliers and industry professionals in the homebuilding, multi-family and mixed-use development markets. As the premier advocate for California’s homebuilding industry, we remain focused on our number one priority: successfully promoting the homebuilding industry’s interests in the State Capitol and in the Governor’s Office, as well as before numerous regulatory agencies.
CBIA Members build nearly 9 out of 10 new housing units annually in California, including charity homes, legally defined affordable housing, middle-class market-rate housing, and luxury homes.

Leading Builders of America represents 21 of the largest homebuilders in America and they endorse PCBC exclusively as their official event. LBA's members include many of the largest homebuilding companies in North America including publicly traded and privately held companies. LBA’s purpose is to preserve home affordability for American families. They do this by carefully evaluating the public policy dialog at the federal and state level and becoming actively engaged in issues that have the potential to impact home affordability. |
